The Listener

Come closer
Whisper my name
Since you caressed me
I haven't been the same.
Flesh touching flesh
Tongues intermingling
The slightest brush of you
Gets my whole body tingling.
I listen to your thoughts
And hang on your words
As your pauses cut like daggers
And your interjections pierce like swords.
I wonder to myself what lies beneath
As you make your stance
and draw from your sheath.
I feel my self again getting lost
But will the benefits outweigh the cost?
Your love has kept me in a daze
Teasing, tempting...
You have set my heart ablaze.

I will gladly wrap myself in chains
And forever be your prisoner....
Doomed to be ever intently
The Listener.
