Being Courageous

You know...it takes a lot of courage to love someone.

And its nothing to smirk at, look down upon....or worse, ignore.

When someone loves you.... don't question their morals, or their reasons, or think that they shouldn't feel the way they do.

It doesn't matter what your personal feelings are about love in general.... whether you hate it, never want it, or think all people of your preferred sex are crazy.

The greatest gift you can give a person who loves you, regardless of your feelings for them, is true authentic acknowledgement.

Love is a powerful thing, and a gift.  It should be a joyous one, but sometimes it isn't.  Sometimes we don't feel the same for someone in return, and wish they came in a different package.  But no one is perfect, and everyone deserves to be loved.

Be kind to those who love you, regardless of the circumstances.  Because love is so powerful....how you treat them will affect them profoundly.  They may think twice before telling someone they love them ever again.... it may chip away at their self-esteem, and they may wonder if they deserve love.

I think people who love hard are the most courageous people in the world.  They are dreamers with hope and starry eyes.  In those they love, they see Divinity.  They don't see impossible circumstances.... they see endless possibilities.  There are no such things as limits.

When someone loves you, they believe in you.  True love is complete acceptance and adoration.

Acknowledge.  Accept.  Give back whenever possible.  And if you can't, let them go so they can recover, pick themselves up, and find love again.

Life is too short.  Take risks, and love hard.
